Helping you and your company reduce its carbon footprint.
The F-Gas Regulations were published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 14th June 2006. The objective of this Regulation is to contain, prevent and thereby reduce emissions of fluorinated greenhouse gases covered by the Kyoto Protocol.
Legal Responsibilities
As an operator of refrigeration, air conditioning or heat pump equipment you are now legally required to maintain records covering the maintenance of equipment and any refrigerants added to, or reclaimed from your systems. The frequency of maintenance visits is determined by the volume of refrigerant gas stored within the AC systems at any given property.
How we can help?
We offer, as standard on PPM or reactive maintenance contracts, an Asset Management service detailing the following,
- Make & model of system
- Serial number
- Age & condition of system
- Type of refrigerant used
- Quantity of refrigerant within each system
- Location of each part of system
This service allows us to accurately document clients HVAC and refrigeration assets, for both our own and our clients' needs, to ensure that the aforementioned F-Gas Regulations are adhered to. Exact records are kept for gas usage and disposal, which can be provided to clients if required along with invoices.
